https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVCr9CcZ2KI  this clip shown can be used in the we are London to represent London besides the photograph that I have attached The location for the multicam production would be a TV Studio. The reason being is because it is the most appropriate for the type of production we are shooting, having multiple camera setups means having the proper space in order to fit everything but also the lighting equipment as well as having the proper mixing/ editing room is mandatory and any extras such as green screen for that matter. The theme of our production is to showcase and represent London through the different types of issues being discussed therefore it is essential to have some sort of a London theme going on and the initial idea is to either green screen a London scenery or insert a  real short clip representing the city which I have provided already. We have a selection of both photograph or an actual moving image clip and I believe thi

Unit 23 - Journals

We was just informed that two of the camera’s in the tv studio went down which has delayed the process of shooting our multi cam production. We are now looking to use  a software called Reco live to shoot our multi cam production on our IPads

Unit 23 - Journal

07/11/16. We spent the lesson discussing the format of our talk show episode and began to storyboard the action. We managed to complete the first 6 shots, with illustrations. The F X- adding music on the vision mixer desk and the sound mixer, to certain parts of programme would follow camera script and the vision mixer.

Production meeting log

25/10/16 On this day, the groups pitched their ideas to the class and there was a discussion of the similarities and differences. Tim's idea was the most appropriate and liked from the class therefore we chose to go with it since the concept of it was very appropriate for the target audience which is young people. One of the main elements in the concept was to use muse to tackle crime in the younger generation. The suggestions for the duration of the show was to be about an hour long however it has to be decreased significantly to about 20 minutes maximum. 07/11/16 The lesson was spent  discussing the format of the talk show episode and storyboard started being developed with the first couple of shots being completed.

Journal first day in the studio

First day in the studio each and every member got introduced to his role and started thinking of ideas as to how they would like to work on their roles within the multicam production. We also had the chance to experiment for an hour in the TV Studio where we could get our hands on the professional equipment and just practice and experiment to get the hang of it.  The first day also consisted of a multicam show practice where the two teams were split to work on two different sections of the production with one on set working as camera operators, floor manager, .... and the second team was in the [control room / visual mixing room] working on sound mixing, going back and forth between camera 1,2 and 3 on screen and making sure whenever a close up is needed the screen is changed to the appropriate camera.

Unit 23 - Journal

25/10/16. Tim and Natalie pitched their ideas again to the group and discussed their similarities and differences. We chose to use Tim’s original title, “We Are London” and his idea of using music to tackle crime in young people. Tim suggested we have the show be an hour long, but Danielle has since informed us that our show must be 20 minutes long
The concept of the multicam production is to produce a live show which tells the story of young people and discusses what their life goals are and what they are doing to turn these dreams into reality. It is a chat show sort of like TED where the audience targeted is young people which can get inspired to chase their passion and dreams in life.
